The admission procedure for Law courses, BBA. LLB, BA. LLB, in Symbiosis Law School, Pune is as follows:

• Please read and understand the instructions before you proceed for registration.
• It is mandatory to appear for SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune.

Candidate seeking admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune should adopt the following procedure:

• She/he must complete the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) online registration process. For details, please visit SET-test official website
• She/he must pay Rs.1500/- as SET Registration Fee. For mode of payment, please visit SET-test official website
• She/he must complete the SLS Pune payment Rs.1000/- (per programme i.e. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) or / and B.B.A. LL.B) while filling the SET registration form. For details, please visit www.set-test.org

Note that missing on any of the above mentioned registrations will disqualify the candidate from being shortlisted for the next phase of Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT).

Mode of payment:

Online Payment: Both SET and SLS, Pune Payment can be made using Credit Card or via Net Banking / provided on the SET Registration Form. It can be done only while doing SET Registration within the prescribed dates.

Demand Draft: Demand Draft of SLS Pune should be in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune, to be sent along with DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International University, Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulashi, District: Pune – 412115 within the prescribed date along with DD payment form available at DD payment option at SET website.

ELIGIBILITY for B.A, LL.B (Hons.), B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) @ Symbiosis Law School [SLS, Pune]:
Qualification: The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and awaiting for the result are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

INTAKE @ Symbiosis Law School [SLS, Pune]:

The total intake is 300 seats [Inclusive of 180 seats of B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A, LL.B (Hons)]
Separate Merit Lists for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply (i.e. only one out of the above-mentioned programmes, chosen based on guidelines given in the below mentioned note). No request for change of Programme will be entertained at any stage.

Note: It is suggested that those candidates who have studied arts/social sciences subjects for their qualifying examination may apply for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. Similarly, those candidates who have studied commerce/accounts/mathematics/science may apply for B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. However the candidates are free to make their own choice depending on their ability, interest & opportunity. Please note that these two programmes differ only in First Degree certificate subject (either Humanities OR Business Courses) whereas the same Law courses are offered to both the programmes. Graduates in both streams are eligible for diverse legal career & opportunities including Corporate, Lawyering, Civil Services, Advocacy, Judiciary, Academic, Jobs in International Organization, Admissions in Foreign Universities/Colleges etc.

PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test ) Selection Procedure:

Selection is done in two phases:

1. Short list of PI-WAT will be prepared on the base of the SET score.
2. The short listed candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) at:

FEE STRUCTURE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-18:
Rs. 2,35000/- (Includes Library Deposit Rs.10,000/-). 5-10% Increase in fees every year is expected.

Hostel Fees

Modern residential facilities are available to give the students a ‘home away from home' experience. Two well-furnished and aesthetically designed hostel have been constructed for girls with a view to provide best possible facilities to the students. Students staying in 3 sharing Girls Hostel, situated 1.5 km from the campus are provided with bus facility to commute to and fro, at scheduled timings. For leisure and recreation, both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are made available in the hostels. Allotment of accommodation for the girl students is on first come first served basis. The Boys' Hostel facility is not available. However private hostel facility available can be explored
